More horses
OK fancy more horses for my car, so where do I start?
Have a MY01 WRX currently have fitted.
ITG Panel Air filter
Decat centre, have the downpipe and up pipe but both off the car at the mo.
Samco Y piece to intercooler.
Scoobysport rear box and Magnex centre.
Is the next stage a remap or is there anything else? Looking for effective mods that wont make me remortgage, hope to maybe start next year.

Fit the downpipe ( is it open neck, cat free downpipe? ) and any CEL fix needed, and up-pipe if you wish.
Then get a tek 3 remap ( circa £650 ?? )
Should release a fair few horses there, maybe 50 ??
Ask the TEK3 dealers for their ideas.

Hi, I ve just upgraded to a TSL sports cat down pipe, powerstation equel length headers and a tek 3 with a green air filter from just having the firestorm back box and centre section
The car got 260bhp and 270 lbs ( on powerstation rollers which are some what lower than others) but when you drive the car you realy do notice the extra power
- still not P1 quick but a much improvment on before
Its the extra lbs I notice more than any thing, 5th gear feels more like 4 th now
the reason I had the headers done was a up pipe was going to cost £150 ish and the headers cost £500 ish with the same cost for fitting so I told my self the headers were only £350 for 20lbs which aint bad really
it just sounds different now, much quietet and smoother
The only problem I have is the power drops at 5500 rev because the TD04 runs out of puff ( well this is what the guy who mapped it said)
so if I upgraded the turbo and injectors I could be looking to
300 lbs and 300 lbs (power station rollers)
I will try and scan in a copy of my graph to let the experts have a look and see what they think

There is no need to have a full remap with an MY01, you can fit a full system go off & play.
Though hands up I wasn't clear "I apologise".....
After the above has been done you could then get a Tek 3 & have even more power.......

Many thanx for all the replies, I'll be refitting the downpipe and uppipe shortly, but gonna need to save for the remap..... having said that after lookin at Johny50's post I might need more than just a remaped ECU to keep up with the bu**er 
Lookin at some other posts I assume that if you want over 300bhp ( not likely to happen in my case) then the TD04 has to go?
Would I get any differance with 550 injectors, FPR and uprated fuel pump with just a TD04?

Depends on supporting mods - anything over 270-280 on a td04 is doing well. Your WRX can just about do this on stock injectors....but it's hammering them, not sure of any long term effects of running at 104% IDC?

You could pick up a decent TD05 or summit ?
Or..you can have my VF34 and i'll get a TD05/06
Definately start with chucking your pipes back on, then go Fuel pump, and take it from there.
