By all accounts the HKS and Blitz are rated quite well. I have a Blitz for sale - just taken off - Blitz is noisier than HKS - depends on personnel choice I guess

Blitz new = £170
HKS new = £180

+ post and fitting - so add about £25

HKS can be got from BRDev or Falkland. BR Dev are close to you in Richmond, Surrey.

Blitz can be got from Fakland Performance

Dunno about Pipercross, dont care either

Scoobysport only stock ITG panel filters.

I was thinking about this the other day (induction kits)

The really nice thing about the induction kits, and I am thinking primarily about the Ram-Air kits sold by Scooby-Mania, is that you get to throw away all that plastic occupying the left had side of the engine bay, nattily making room for something like a water bottle for an intercooler spray...

Problem is having read lots of stuff about this on this bbs there seems to be a bit of a fear about contamination of the Air flow sensor for the EMU... Especially the new ones, which of course the P1 should have...

Reading a bit more the best recommendation I have had was to get the standard air filter changed more often (i.e. every service instead of every other service) and if I really must have gadgets, then get a boot mounted water tank

I dunno, there is still some tell that an induction kit might give an extra 3-5% power... In theory that would take the power up over the 300PS mark (with the P1 exhaust)
Rolls of the tongue much easier that '300' (as apposed to 280)

Cool

Cool, thanx to you all..

Some other feed back I've had from egroups is basically, dont do it, as you run the risk of b*ggering the MAF up..

So I dont fink I will... I'll concentrate of a downpipe and new back box for now.. oh and nu breaks for the front..

Thanx again

Remember the intercooler is between the air filter and the engine and would stop anything tiny that might damage the turbo IMHO.

You might need a new intercooler though

Kevin.
