Question

Hi,

My dealer just installed me the new 3 port boost solenoid but i guess he didnt connect the hoses at the right place as pressure does high peaks (1.3bar) and is not stable after.
Could anyone would be please to tell me where the the hoses may be connected ?

THanks a lot !!

The 2 connectors connect to the wastegate and turbo outlet while the 3rd connects to the recirculation port on the air intake.

As I have a version 5, best if you consult anyone with ver 1-4 or just check out their factory connection.

Thanks a LOT ! btw could you tell me exactly which hose goes on turbo, wastegate and recirculation port ? Actually the one on the top of the solenoid is on the Turbo, the one on the bottom (the lower one, right hose) goes to the wastegate and the middle one (cornered hose on the exit of the solenoid) goes to the recirculation air port.. is it ok ?

Thanks

It could well be - and it sounds like it - that whoever fitted it put new hoses in and did not refit the restrictor - a little brass bead with a hole in the middle to provide some damping to the boost controller.

You should check it out - BUT I can't remember which hose it is in!
