Which viscosity for the turbo MY98?

Mobil 1 Motorsport grade, think its 5W-50 or something similar.

 

I bought some 15W 50 from Halfords. Mobil-1 Motorsport.

 

Synthetic is not the best for Scoobys, use Magnatex, so I've been told by a Rally Engine building firm.

So what is name of that rally engine firm...?

Just a few of question:

A) What rally engine builder says not to use Synthetic? I suppose that putting too good an oil in may drastically affect how oftern the engine needs to be rebuilt...

B) What is Magnatex, is it a clever cross between Castrol Magantec and Dulux Sandtex exterior wall paint?

C) Should I be worried that the Silkolene Pro S I am using in my engine is doing it's job too well?

I firmly beleive that rogermcb was given the advice from a rally firm using their vast experience and knowledge of rally preparation. I think the firm inquestion could possibly be Ford, maybe that would explain why their cars never finish the rallies .

Synthetics are not the best? You must be joking Roger. Get some Sikolene Pro S in your engine (Moray was serious about that, i think ) and forget about the Artex, Supertex, Magnatex ... crap.
