Unhappy

Hi folks!

My MY98 Impreza clutch seems to be living its last days (42.000Km)...

It was never good since new and it started sliping frequently after I gave the car a few km.

So, What are the alternatives to the original clutch?

AP clutches? Can anyone recomend me other brands? Can you please indicate prices?

And what about twin plate (or triple plate) clutches?? Are they recommended for road use? Will they work in the city traffic?

Regards,

Gustavo

I went for a Black Diamond Clutch. It is 30% uprated over standard and is only £150 for the kit (incl thrust bearing).

I got mine from Revolution in Newcastle and can say it is much sharper than the standard one, no probs.

Cool

Helix Group N has good bite and is a nice clutch to drive with. It's rated for up to 310lb ft torque.
