Question

I know that Prodrive fit them when having the Performance Pack fitted.

But are they realy needed. Should they only be fitted if running higher boost.

Sorry Ian, I got it wrong, it is the turbo pipes that I am inquiring about, but I thought that if I'm doing one then I'll do the other at the same time.

Cool

Howdy..

No... it doesnt actually need replacing...

Its a gimic....

Why replace one... when in fact there are 3 pressurised hoses (depends on MY)

Hoses dont/wont burst (unless u really crank up the boost.. or get them really really hot).. the problem is leaking.... and fitting a silicone hose wont solve that.

Samco do kits specific for the Scoob... I have my old kit somewhere.... not using it now... *bloody typical* lol

Hi J,

Isn't there some advantage in having a smooth internal wall to the boost hoses, rather than the bellows-type flexible intercooler hoses?. Less turbulence, pressure drop etc. etc.

Cheers,

Alex
