I just thought I'd let everyone know that after the very successful fitting of my new downpipe, Tyres Northampton are now able to offer this service to other Scooby owners.
The whole job only took 1 1/2 hours too.
If you're interested, call Mark or Malc on 01604 588599.
Cheers.

Stef.
PS Any other UK cars out there that flame?

Alan.

As I've been very happy with my Scorpion exhaust, I decided to remain loyal and use their new Scooby d/p.
It's identical to the old Subaru one just with no cat, ie, there's no fancy flange or extra outlets.
Just a nice, clean, straight through pipe!
I cannot believe the difference it's made though, and it only costs £100!!!!!!
Amazing.

Sunilp.
It flames all by itself ( ) when the throttle is let off rapidly, but it appears to be mainly when changing up from first to second.

Question

Stef,

How much are "Tyres Northampton" going to charge to fit a downpipe ?

I would be interested after the excellent service when replacing my tyres, fitting the ALK and rear links etc.

Thanks

Gavin

Gavin.

Just got off the phone with Mark, and he reckons £50 + vat to fit a d/p that you supply, which doesn't sound bad to me!

Cool

Stef,

Where did you get your downpipe from?
I've had the Scorpion system for a year and a half and have been toying with the idea of the d/p.
I take it the noise is bearable

Jon.

Tyres Northampton can supply and fit a Scorpion d/p for £150 + vat!!!!!!
Not bad eh?
As far as the noise is concerned, I guess that's a matter of opinion!
