Scorpion Exhausts
Heard a Scorpion system at the weekend with a superb tone and rumble. Seemed a little deeper in tone to a Scoobysport back box I heard the same day. What's the view on the scorpion? Are they deeper in tone or could it just be because he had a full system? It was Phil.M's car from this BBS so he might give a few more details below on his set up if he reads this thread.

I too have a Scorpion cat-back system on my car, and it does appear to have a deeper rumble than the Scoobysport set-up. This isn't to everyone's taste though of course.
One of the reasons is probably that the Scorpion has a 4" tail pipe, as opposed to the more common 3.5".
They have recently changed theirs to a 3.5" as well though, but I haven't heard a new one, so don't know if it sounds the same.
Anyway, I'm over the moon with mine, and power gains seem among the best too!

Hi Phil, hi Otis!
Great run on Sunday! Phil's exhaust does sound good. I think it's very similar to my Mongoose full system, but could be very wrong indeed! I'm pleased with mine and costs approx £400 (I think!).
See you all soon,
Jon.
