Question

Have had my Scooby for some time now and always assumed the bonnet scoop was purely an air intake for the intercooler. However, I notice that a small portion of it is directed to the 'thing' on the left hand side of the intercooler radiator - my question is what is this?

First thoughts are that it is the turbo and maybe it is a fresh air feed used to cool the turbo casing body.

Anybody in the know out there?

Andy,

Your thoughts were correct. The O/S end of the scoop forces air into a shroud around the turbo to help the cooling.
