Has anyone fitted an uprated turbo to an STI IV ?

I know HKS do roller bearing ones, anyone any experience ?

Has anyone fitted a front mounted intercooler? I know they are big in the land of OZ. Again, HKS now produce one. I assume lag would be increased, due to the length of piping. Is it increased alot ? noticably ?
