Clutch Judder?
I got mine changed on my old MY99, in June 03, after 36k miles under extended warranty no charge. I lived with it for quite a while, then it started doing it when it was warm and got pretty severe on slow hill-starts in traffic, when you can't give it the required 1800rpm+ to avoid.
My dealer installed a 'clutch-kit' and flywheel (£900 total bill) made mostly (?) out of MY02 WRX parts apparently.
My question is, however, seeing as it seems to be such a common problem, if Subaru have known about it for so long why was the problem/fault not erradicated by MY02 ?
Also, does anyone detect any judder on their MY03 cars yet
?
Wilster.
Edited to say I now have an MY02 31k miles and it hints at juddering but not quite full-on yet.

Hvae had my MY02 WRX for nearly a year now and have covered 7.5k trouble free miles
(Mainly weekend enjoyment)
Have noticed for the last couple of weeks that when pulling away, when the engine is cold, pulling away in 1st I seem to get a slight judder from the clutch? After a couple of miles and things have started to warm up it goes!?!?!
Has anyone had this before? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm afraid they all do it, a couple of full bore starts will temporarily resolve the issue, the other option is to demand a new clutch if the car is under warranty but it will eventually do the same again
