Sti 8 side repeaters........Again !

Guy's, I have looked in the "seach" section for the removal of these from my Sti 8........the big question is ..do I push them back or push them forward. I am such a heavy handed person that I will more than likely rip the wing off, and then realise I should have pushed it the other way !!!!!!!!!!
