Anyone had this problem

Electic window motor worked loose and siezied totally u/s wrecking pivot bars too i think, so window been stuck half up.
Subaru assist were about as good as no good managed to scrach an wreck my door card and bend inner panels
been away for weekend and never had driving licence so assist couldn`t give me a car so the car has been sitting at a police station with duct tape holding the window up all weekend.

Managed to get a hire car today

That has happened to me, my01 wrx - driver side window jammed when going up one day, removed door panel to have a look and the motor had ripped from its fixing bolts and bent runners etc
put door panel back on, managed to manually pull window up,
it also ripped all the window tint off the inside.****.
contact local dealer and got it repaired under warranty
new glass, motor, runners the lot!
