My P1 is now due the 30k service going on time not mileage (25k). How much should i expect to pay? My Dealers (R.N Goldens)have quoted me £471 :-( Which i think is a bit steep...! has anybody just had there 30k service done by the dealers?

Yowch!!

But it is a main service.....which will be well over £100 in fluids (diff/trans/engine oil and antifreeze) and the spark-plugs aint cheap either (over £30 set RRP- but you can get them far cheaper).

So your looking at about £200 for parts/fluids alone!! (obviously you can get the parts alot cheaper...but the dealer will charge you the RRP). That won't include any brake pads/disc either.

Labour-wise I'd say it should be about £150 worth. So that puts you to around £350+vat, So I reckon they could knock a few quid off.

Glad I service mine myself

Edit - forgot to add - does it need the brake fluid changing too?

I was quoted £465 to service my P1. That is also going to be done on time rather than mileage
