The car in question is a MY00 Turbo with only 3000 miles on clock. Just recently heard a noise....like metal scraping. My first though was slipping clutch. The car will be going in to be sorted but any thoughts on the problem would be appreciated. The noise was intermittent and first presented itself when pulling away....moderately...but soon went away.

 

If the same noise can be heard when you rev up the engine then check the Turbo heat shield, it may be cracked.
