How to send pics via ms messenger ?
#1
Need a bit of help...
I have a winxp pro box sharing internet connection in my house.
Using winxp built in internet sharing to do this.
from the winxp box it goes into a 8 port switch to share out an internet connection to other pcs in the house.
Now the problem is that when im using ms messenger from a pc connected to the switch eg a laptop i cant send files/pics to other messenger users but they can send me pics which i receive fine on the laptop. All pcs conencted to the switch are running either xp home or xp pro have the same problem.
But if i use the winxp box that is sharing the conenction to send pics via ms messenger it works fine.
Any idea on how to send pics via ms messenger if u using a pc that is conencted to the switch - I dont really wanna keep going to the winxp box just to do this -ideas on how to fix this?

I'd noticed this too, but weren't too bothered, usually stick the piccy a webserver then forward a link to it.
It's really strange that the ICS should affect the sending end as opposed to the receiving end??
