Question

About to sign up for one of these services and don't know which one is the better bet. Only visable difference I can see price wise, is that the yahoo one costs £2 more a month and you get 15 mb of webspace. I'm not sure if it will let you take incoming calls at the same time as the other bt broadband service does either. Anyone recommend one of these over the other and if so why?

The nature of DSL is that it enables you to be online without making your phone line busy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ...

Hardware wise they're gonna be the same, same type of connection, same speed connection, provided both are 512k, both technically supplied by BT.

The differences will be in the extra's that you get, as you say Webspace, online services email etc etc

If the Yahoo web browser is more secure than win-dohs! I might look into it in the future. But I'll stick with the devil I know for now, as AOL was just a nightmare when I used it.

Let me get this straight.
I can before I live somewhere order a phone line to be connected but I can not order broadband untill the line is switched on, what a daft system that is. I know the exchange is ok as I live not 10 houses away from my new gaff and my neighbour has got it where I am now. stupid BT
