Alan

Please read your email regarding the matter but to clear it up for the others:

Alan ordered a Dawes Device last Friday, unfortunately on Friday we had to undergo a complete server transfer so the order could not be processed until Monday, which Alan seemed happy enough with.

We sent the Dawes out yesterday on a 24 Hour delivery as we knew Alan needed it for Wednesday. Now I get back in front of the computer at 2am and find an email sent at 21.41 this evening from Alan stating that he has not received his Dawes and demanding a refund without any reason given other than his disgust!

Alan I have given you the consignment number, I have appologised for Parcel Force missing the delivery today, unfortunately this is as much as I can do other than chase the parcel tomorrow morning. I would appreciate if you made an effort to contact us during business hours rather than the technique you have used tonight as these relatively small problems can be rectified without the need for this kind of thing!

Jamie

I have NEVER had any problem with Jamie and his service. Maybe you have bought things from him in the past and expect everything/everytime to go like clockwork, as it does 99 times out of 100. Give him a break, I know he has been busy sorting a move and new web site out recently.

Moon on a stick please.

I'm rather bemused; surely JW's first post explains the situation quite clearly? The parcel went out on Monday, 24hr delivery to get to you on Tuesday. But Parcel Force **** up so I fail to see how this warrants a Scoobynet slagging of JW... Am I missing something here?

Some people......

Signed,
A satisfied JW-Racing customer

I agree that slagging Jamie off for something that is out of his hands is a bit unfair, have you done the same to 'Parcel Farce'the other point to make is why did you leave it until the last minute to order the part you wanted ?
I have used Jamie for parts and found his service excellent.
I know this isnt the level of service you feel you have had but his e-mail is pretty explanatory.

I wouldn't demand a refund due to a delay of one day - as annoying as it can be, it would prob take more time to then go and order it from another supplier, so I'd prob end up waiting even longer for the product.

However, if the guy didn't receive stuff when agreed he should be entitled to refund, if that's what he wants.

I don't think he should have to take it up with the courier as he didn't buy the goods from the courier. That's purely the responsibility of the supplier.

You've always got to be a bit wary of people who post in capitals - bit like people who write letters to their local paper in green ink....

Yeah, alanbell, I do think it's funny. JW's reply is quite clear enough (considering it was posted at 2am).

Still - you crack on, ranting away at your PC screen

Alan- think yourself lucky, i waited 3 months for a set of springs!!!

poor delivery time is ONE of the reasons why he was black balled by Tyne Tees Scoobies

Jonny - No need, you were given all the updates I could of possibly given about the special order Whiteline Springs you ordered, then you decided to go for Eibachs, which I got to you straight away, then the same week the Whiteline Springs turned up here!

What is the need of coming on a place like this and having a go? all my TTS customers still come to me anyway, I am hard pushed to see why I've been "black-balled" from the TTS, other than a couple of people who had a little bit of confilct of interests should we say, mind you I wont loose any sleep over it!

Thanks to everyone else who have no problems, it's nice to see that 95% of my customers are happy and I'll strive to keep the other 5 right too! Thanks for all your support!

Myself and Alan cleared the problem up today, he was very upset that Parcel Force did not deliver when expected but I have offered him a full refund and we are both now happy.

1.not honouring the 10% discount you promised.
2.orders that were late.
3.parts that were incomplete.
4.refusing to refund when the orders were wrong.

think that did it!

Not once its left his hands and gone into the mangle that is parcel force.
It was the suppliers responsibility to have the goods delivered to the buyer, because that's what he agreed to do. There were only two parties to the contract and Parcel Force wasn't one of them. By making payment the buyer carried out his part of the bargain. In return, the supplier committed to delivering the goods. Who he uses and their level of competence is not the buyers responsibility.

Sorry if this is irrelevant, now that the issue has been sorted, just wanted to reply to earlier post.

Jonny,

Maybe if people actually let me know they were members of the TTS then they might get the discount?? Just a thought?

Any orders that are late are due to supply problems, read this thread and see how many people are happy, just cos u rnt, doesn't give a true indication does it?

Parts that were incomplete??? I've never been informed of this, so I can't possibly be expected to resolve a problem.

The same goes for the refunding issue. I'll refund if a valid reason is given.
