as a newbie, i hear people talking of a knock-link would someone please expandon this for me, regards kazlo

 

its a sensor which detects knock on your engine. knock is also known as pre-dettonation, detting, pinking and other various words some of which woudl get ******-ed out . Basically its a set of lights on your dash which light up when knock is detected.
