Cool

Ok this is for a MY93WRX. When cold it runs very lumpy and struggles to pick up, when the revs get up it seems to cope better. When warm idles better but still gives hestitation and not smooth accleration when using heavy throttle. Any ideas on what this could be? Could it be the MAF sensor?

Could be the MAF, however they're pretty reliable on the older cars. They also survive careful cleaning to a certain extent.

Also look at cleaning the boost control solenoid or replacing the lambda sensor. You can find most of the info using the search facility

Hope you get it worked out!

Me again! Its on the drivers side suspension strut inside the engine bay. About four pipes going to it.
What about plugs, fuel filter has that all been changed.
Hope the turbo timer is doing its job.

found it and cleaned it, to no real avail, still runs bad, losing my patients with this. The turbo timer is working fine, thanks for all the help on that.

I think that it may be running rich as well, what would cause that?
