My friends car makes a grinding noise when turning a slow left (3 point turn) & when in reverse too. Its like metal on metal, quite loud as well & can be felt from inside the car as well. It only does on left turn at & about full lock.It seems too be coming from the drivers side wheel area.We have checked power steering fluid ok, Disc & pads new all ok, I think it could be the cv joint or somewhere in that area.
Has anyone else had this noise, How would you check the cv joint,drive shaft. What would you look for.
