things just seem to get more interesting every day

just brought a 96 wrx wagon, test drove it and all v nice etc, remember thinking "cool" its got a quickshift already in it, and a pretty meaty clutch me thinks

anyway giving it a good run the other night and started to think "hmm bit strange, those revs are pretty high for the speed ?" eventually hitting around 7k in 5th was showing somewhere between 110-120.

Turns out it seems as though its got a close ratio box in it or a box out of an RA

Not got a problem with it cause its a nice gearchange etc, but obviously tops out well early, just wondering if anyone else had done similar to this and any experiences etc
