Question

my97 sport - having new clutch fitted, but I have a question. On the passenger side inner wing is a alloy 'box' which has some cables coming from the cluch cable assy. Can someone tell me what it is and what it does????
A mate has a WRX 93 import and it doesn't have one.

Can anyone help?

You may be looking at the "Hill holder" valve block assembly, which is fitted to some models. So when you pull up at a junction or traffic lights, once you have depressed the clutch and brake pedal, the brakes are aplied automatically for you, untill you the let out the clutch pedal and the brakes release. Tyr it, good fun once you get used to it.
