I have a secs monitor and have recently managed to peak the boost at 17.1 psi....should i be worried it's running to much boost? Am of the opinion it's running a standard ecu.

What should my max psi be running a standard ecu?

Running a pro drive ecu?

And or other suggestions based on ecu upgrades?

I am sure someone will correct but

standard ECU runs about 0.9bar/13psi
ppp ECU runs about 1.1bar/16psi

(1bar =14.5psi)

Well a 5min job would be to lift the passenger carpet and have a look under the kickplate to see what ECU you have.

If it looks like this, then it's a Prodrive one (remapped STI).

I asked the same question a while ago...

My WR RB5 always shows 18.6 psi on the secs monitor as a peak boost value,(peak,as opposed to held boost)
