EJ207 is Sti 8 block
EJ257 is US spec Sti 2.5

is the truth that Sti 8 improvement over Sti 7 is forged conrods?

Eurospec STi7 and STi8 engines seem the same in internal spec, least according to the parts book that is.

And difference between quality of internals between US 2.5 and Eurospec Sti. Heard some rumours that US internals are not as good as JAP and Eurospec. But dont know why?
