Sti 3 heads on Sti MY03 shortengine?

Does it works?
My reason to try it up:
- have damaged engine. Sti 03 have forged pistons, forged conrods (agains sti 3 internals - same order codes like GT (UK turbo) except pistons).
Now I have special offer - cheaper new shortengine Sti MY03 with Subaru warranty than Sti 3 engine from breakers with unrecognized mileage.
But Im not sure it will works.
