Depends on the map and also which rollers you run on ?
There is at least 10% between the most common 4wd rollers used on this board.
Andy
So, er, anywhere between 320 and 352 is my guess

Good result, especially area under torque curve, this must be a very rapid car to drive on the road
At what point do you reach one bar boost after WOT in 4th from 2000 rpm, and what IDC% are you running ?
Thinking about TD05 FE, but concerned about lag, and the need for 550 cc injectors to fully exploit

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
what size is the downpipe?
what inlet pipe are you using?
torque is very low..
I had 342Lbft with a NON FE TD05
who mapped it?
What timing, AFR's??
David

My car is on the rollers tomorrow and was just wondering if you any of you fancied having a guess at the figures.
Spec:
UK Turbo running an STi4 Engine
Lateral Performance Synchro set
TD05 front entry
HKS FMIC
GReddy Iridium plugs
Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controller set at 1.4bar/20.3psi
Apexi Power FC
Fuel pressure regulator
HKS SPF air filter
Up-rated fuel pump (250litres p/h)
Thamesvalley Motorsport up-rated oil pump
Injectors 440cc
Jap Innovations downpipe
HKS Hiper Muffler exhaust system

Here are the results:
354bhp & 291 lb/ft
I have the graph scanned but fotopic won't let me display directly from here, don't know why here is the web address of the graph if someone can sort it out!

I have done the [img[/img] link but it just displays a fotopic logo
Thanks

Good bhp figure but torque seems low is comparison, they seem to cross at the right rpm but I would have though that if the setup can produce that much BHP you could get more mid range?
Is the high bhp/torque ratio a feature of the Well Lane rollers?
Andrew...
Alan,
Still curious about the bhp vs torque, looking at the graphs again I see the boost curve is nice a flat from 4000rpm upwards, are you tapering off the boost at the top end or (trying to) keep it at 1.4bar?
I guess on the road the torque comes in a bit earlier than on the rollers?

I don't know much about any of the things you guys are asking me,
If there is any advice/help to be given I'll have it please

Torque is usually all over the place at Well Lane, but the bhp is usually reasonably accurate - if your car wheels are'nt slipping (file note: - dont increase your tyre pressures for a well lane rr day!)
This is odd as I thought that power was a function of torque...
I would have expected more power than that with your spec.

Apologies, I should have posed the questions more clearly
1. "At what point do you reach one bar boost after WOT in 4th from 2000 rpm" If you are driving the car on a steady throttle, at around 2000 rpm in 4th gear, then depress the throttle fully, at what rpm is 1 bar of boost achieved ? I am asking this to understand the point at which 'useful' boost is made when compared to the standard TD04 on my MY98 UK
2. "what IDC% are you running ?" I am running 86% Injector Duty Cycle with 380cc injectors. Powerstation rolling road result matches almost exactly a 'rule of thumb' I have seen used on this board and bbs.22b.com
4 ( injector )* 380 ( cc ) * 0.86 ( IDC ) / 5.5 ( cc per bhp )
= 238 bhp
Flow estimates at http://www.vfaq.net/mods/10faqA.html
2.1 TD05H-16G @ 505 cfm
2.2 TD04-13G @ 360 cfm
Flow would increase by 505/360 = 1.4 times, so I would need to increase injector size by around this amount to keep the same Air Fuel Ratio ( AFR ). This points to need to upgrade 550cc injectors instead of 440cc to fully exploit the TD05, but I don't want poor idle, low speed control, or difficulty at MoT time. I do not know if the standard MY98 UK ECU can control 550cc injectors well enough to pass MoT. Swapping back from the Link to standard when required is convenient

Looks like bigger injectors, and a TD05/6 from your goodself Andy

Sorry misread the post
354 and 291 is f'ing great for Well Lane and for a pretty cheap turbo - excellent - sorry saw the other two runs you posted and thought that one was a run and the other a comparison
and is about right I think
When I got 360bhp I only had I think about 300lbs torque so sounds about right (although with 408bhp I had 352lbs at Well Lane last time)
You need to see what you get at
