Plonker in the Peugot 405 Estate towing a caravan this morning on the A14

He was doing 65-70 mph. His caravan was weaving so much that he had to move back into the inside lane & slow down a bit

Soon speeded up again.

I gradually overhaul (going steady in a Micra) & as I'm level with the caravan, plonker decides that he's getting too close to the lorry in front ('cos he's doing 65 & the lorry 56) so he indicates & starts to move into my lane at the same time

The reason I'm driving the poxy Micra is that PTMW! is in the bodyshop getting fixed after being sideswiped by a lorry on the same stretch of road

So I hit the horn - which is about as loud as a standard scoob one. Being a Micra, its quite narrow, so I'm over to the rhs of the lane with plonker stradling the white lines, me about level with his car.

Plonker is gesticulating for me to speed up!!

Needless to say that I slowed down so that the impact speed would be lessened ( ) & eventually went past, then slowed again to go past the lorry. Plonker is gesticualting madly all this time!

He also was only running with standard mirrors & it was a large caravan

Some people!

I'd have tripped out there mate......

The combination of a Caravan (LOW DOWN SCUM BAG) and a gesticulating complete idiot would have been to much.....

Red mist would have set in and I wouldn't have been able to rest till I'd either given him a right Gob Full or skipped the Gob full and gone straight to "the Slap"

Your self control was admirable Sir....

Funny how so many caravanners don't realise that you must have the weight distribution of the caravan at least slightly forward for stability.
