As I am selling mine and it looks as if it will be a sell off of all the parts, just wondering if a Tek3 could be put on someone else's car.
I know it is a custom remap, but would it be able to spot the difference between two cars and adjust itslef accordingly?

It would have to be remapped as even if an identical spec car there will be differences.

Perhaps your mapper would happily reflash it to a tec 2 or JB tek2.5 standard which is more suitable for postal sales?

For the original purchaser of the remap I've been remapping them FOC for further mods. If transferred to a new owner, free postal reflash of an ECU programmed by me to a standard postal map, or £250 & come and see me for a full custom remap for the new owner. I expect most others would do similar. If a different mapper is used to tweak an ECU that was previously reprogrammed by another mapper, because of the licensing situation it is usually full price again - certainly it is on all the new age models, although some Tek 2s from MY99/00 have a reprogramming license in them already. Speak to your mapper as suggested and I am sure you can sort something out.

How long does that deal last for John?

I'm slowly getting to that point...

As long as I can keep up with demand. Generally it is for turbo swaps.
