HI ive a MY94 WRX-STI-1 has,or does any one know if you are able to remap these early ECU,s if not any other option,s available, and any one any exprience with a piggy back ecu mod, that also works, regards mark

I've got the same car as you. You could try the Scooby ECU upgrade. I will probably try it myself eventually but I have a feeling that the STI ECU it has already got is pretty good anyway. When I improved the turbo back exhaust it would boost to fuel cut so I fitted a Dawes to reduce the boost to just under fuel cut. I use 1.05 bar. No det or fuelling problems are apparent. It would certainly be interesting to see what improvement the Scooby ECU would give.

mmmmmmmmmmm ive a full decat £2 system and a spun alloy plenum, and a blitz suspower filter, the car starts runs fine no flat spots at all, but the max boost i see is 14.psi, so its prob 1 bar, it just doesnt seem to rush at the top as i expected, mark
