Ferrodo DS2000 or other - Main Street Dealer
Sorry for not answering your question, but I'm curious as to why you'd prefer one of these outfits. Most people I know avoid them like the plague.
And just in case this helps, I know Scooby World have DS2500 in stock and at a great price. At least they did have them yesterday afternoon. You could prob get them delivered to you or your chosen fitter by tomorrow morning. I went for Pagid RS4-2.1, which I got from Performance Braking. Excellent service - ordered yesterday and arrived this morning.

Does anyone know if any of the major tyre and brake places can source and fit the DS2000s. Kwik Fit, Formila One, National Tyres, ATS, etc. (Or another decent fast road pad).
I will call them all, but if someone has already done it, got costs, their part numbers etc then that would be great.
I dont have much time available to get them fitted and would rather go to a place like this than a smaller garage or do it myself.
Cheers.

Ta. I will get a price and look into it further.
Reason for going to one of the high street suppliers are :
I need to get them done asap.
I have mail order purchased parts in the past and got another garage to fit them, only to find out that the part is wrong, 10 mins into the install. I am then obliged to pay the garage regardless and have to waste more time off etc.
I have problems finding an hour to go and get it done and usually only know I have the time available an hour or so before I get to it.
I have not found a local garage, who do not need to be booked more than a week in advance, who are reliable enough and ready enough to change the pads the moment I turn up as pre-booked.
I am confident that if a tyre firm cause me a problem, they will sort it quickly and for free and or give me a refund rather than my bringing their entire chain into disrepute.
I have found that the purchase and delivery costs, plus the fit only cost is close to the eventual supply and fit cost (eg tyres).
I do agree that most high street places are useless...and over charge.
Cheers,
MKC

OK, I can see your problem re last minute fitting.
If you order parts from a decent supplier they will, as I have found, take the trouble to make sure you know what you're getting and that it is suitable for the application. That's the difference in service between suppliers. Eg. the guy I used confirmed MY and a physical description of the caliper. You can usually tell whether or not they have had any experience with your type of car.
Don't agree that you can't save money by sourcing independently of the fitters. A whole load of guys on here order tyres by mail order and then get them fitted and balanced at a cost of say £10 per corner. This often (just check the threads) saves enough the make it worthwhile - I'm not talking about saving a measely £20!
Hope you get it sorted.

If you can change a wheel and undo a couple of nuts, you could do it yourself in an hour.
Changing front pads on an Impreza is very simple, the longest part is jacking the car up and removing the wheels!
