running windows 2000 on my pc at work, just wondered if there was anyway for me to send faxes from my pc direct to some of my customers?

anyone know how to set this up?

I dont want to recieve the faxes on my pc, they are fine going direct to the normal fax machine.

 

Take a look in Control Panel for 'Fax' you need a modem and phone line.

 

Plenty of fax software programs available - some paid for, some free/shareware.

Personally use Symantec WinFax Pro - fully featured paid for package.

PhoneTools also do one, which comes bundled OEM with PCs/Modems etc.

 

Office 2000 includes a starter version of Symantec WinFax. Or, as Jack says there's the basic free service in most versions of Windows.
