Is getting on my nerves, I think I've narrowed it down to the up-pipe one, anyone know how difficult it is to cure??

they normally split on the weld to the turbo flange, might be able to get a welding gun up there??

How hard are they to remove to weld/braze up??

 

the heat shields or Up pipe itself??
Tbh to do it properly you will need to take the up pipe off which can be a bit of a pain.
the heat shield is almost impossible to remove with the up pipe still in place.
