Right...

Got an oil change about a month ago, and put Castrol RS 0/40 into it.
Since then, i've read that it's too thin.

Will this be the cause of the slight tappety noise i'm getting ??
Has only started a few days after the oil change.

I'm about to get it serviced again, using 10/60 Shell Helix Ultra Racing.

Should this quieten it down a bit ??

Thanks

Johnny

Cheers Dan.

Used to use the Shell Stuff in the cossie, and the "Ultra Racing" is quite expensive, but good.

Have heard lots of good things about the Castrol 10/60. So if i get a positive response i may go for that.

Do you think the thinner oil may be the cause of the noise ??

Thin oil will give more engine noise.

Thanks Pete.

I was hoping that would be the cause.

Was getting a bit worried.

Thanks again
