All the breakdown cover policies mention recovery to nearest garage. I would not be happy with my car being recovered to the 'nearest garage'.

Are there policies out there that allow you to choose, or breakdown companies which know that a JDM needs to go to a specialist and not to a UK dealer as they won't touch them.

but im with the AA and payed a small amount extra oer month for a parts and labour cover warrenty, i asked the lady to confirm that its available for import cars and she did

surley a local specialist would have to be a specialist for jdm cars not just for uk models??
