I have an STI5 Type R and recently it seems to be struggling when revving around 6000rpm. No misfires, it just feels as though it's "missing" and not wanting rev any higher.

Fueling is ok (as far as I know), it's got blitz iridium plugs at the moment, I am going to change them to NGK PRF7B's - just wondering if it's worth changing plug leads and possibly coil pack. (I noticed one of the plug leads seemed a loose fit on the coil pack) MY 1998.

cheers

It's usually a sign the plugs are knackered.

Used to refer to my old cossie's as feeling 'pluggy' at high revs when it was revving poor at the top

Wink

Could also be the coil packs breaking down.....though before rushing out to buy these it would be worth a specialist taking a look......
