way back in february i had attempted break-in to house to nick my car keys...lock was smashed etc but the dog saved the day....got a call from police this morning who have arrested a gang who had been operating all over north of england and it looks like they've had a result...want a statement off me.
congrats and lets hope some doddering old magistrate/judge doesn't just give em a slap on the wrist.

 

Good news at last..

May sleep a bit easier knowing that at least a few of the villians out there are punished.

You are lucky! after my car nearly nicked and the break in when we were in bed upstairs,police never rang me even when I availed them with the list of calls thieves made from my stolen mob.Even the finger prints were not enough evidence!
I am in North Wales where a few scoobs got pinched/nearly pinched the same time round.If you think it could be the same gang,pls. email me some info.

= 12 month suspended sentence
No fine as they will have no way of paying
Maybe some community service (wow)

All in all get away scot free

Whereas on the other hand if you get speeding conviction

3 points, £60 & feeling p***ed off because you were onlymarginaly over . YOU have to pay cos if not court knows they can get you big time, fine you more etc etc

Outcome is Normal sensible law abiding citizen gets sc***ed again.

No win situation, scumbags laughing and back on the street causing more misery to other Scooby drivers
