Checked my oil level today and for the first time in 20k miles it had dropped. I looked under the car and could see a drip on the oilfilter. I checked that the filter was tight and it wouldn't budge.

I topped the car up to the correct level and started her up and I am getting a constant drip drip off of the filter, Has anyone any idea where this could be coming from

Car will be going to the garage on mon but it playing on my mind and wondered if anyone else had experienced this as well

Maybe a bit of cr@p under it when it was tightened down?
Have had same prob. Garage replaced filter, cleaned down, and topped up, free of charge.

No dont think it is that, changed the oil and filter 1700 miles ago and haven't lost any oil and then all of a sudden it has started a constant drip when running. Is there a oil cooler atatched the the filter.

Will change the filter on mon and have a closer inspection

If not filter then probably the front crank seal..

Hears hoping it is your filter..

Thumbs down

They CAN work loose, try removing, cleaning and retightening first, and have a look at the seal while it's off.
