I recently placed some bits back on to my car to make it more "standard" (PPP01) I replaced the original intercooler, air box resonator and zorst. I now get a very loud induction (could turbo whine be the same thing ?) sound on acceleration as the turbo spools. The only thing different to a std PPP car is that I have a big scoop, without the backing plate and rubber surround - could this be letting out the big induction sound. Flippin scary. I'd expect an aftermarket filter to sound like this, but its stock. Where can I start looking - I have checked all is secured and in place as far as my eye can see. Help. Please.
