i have a my 92 wrx i have a dawes device fitted and engine light keeps flashing on tryed to do a reset and code 45 comes up witch is the boost solinoid how the **** do you sort it . there is no plumbing to boost solanoid but it is still pluged in help please its getting on my (.)(.) cheers grant

 

Have you got a pressure gauge fitted along with the dawes? If so what boost pressure are you seeing? If you are getting a boost solenoid fault you must be overboosting. Have you got any ECU mods? If you haven't I would suggest having a scoobyecu fitted courtesy of David Wallis & co so that you can raise the boost cut and have the ignition and fuel curves mapped to account for the extra boost.

got a greddy boost guage it just under 1 bar and its not cuting at that the cut came in once when i was setting the daws up but doesent cut now or does it not have to to overboost cheers grant

 

Because it has overboosted it may have registered a solenoid fault, What is the car boosting to now with the check light on? May now be in safe mode until it is reset. Did the check light come on shortly after the overboost?

 

still boosting at about 0.9 with cheack light on when driving the car light goes off as soon as you stop at traffic lights light comes back on as soon as you touch the throttle it goes off again

 

Have you tried doing a ECU reset as shown on saxonfields website as shown above?
