may be a bright idea (prob not )

but......

as i understand it NOS is an inert (sp?) gas and is very cold, so would it be

1. possible
2. cost effective
3. make much difference

to rig up a intercooler NOS system? similar to water spray.

if all of the above items are met, then this could be a way of obtaining power without engine damage.

Just a thought

waits with one arm already in coat

Let me get this straight.

You wish to "spray" the NOS over the outside of the IC as you would with a normal water spray? As apposed to injecting NOS into the inlet as per normal (bloody good way of getting rid of turbo lag by the way)

Even though the NOS is cold the heat transfer is much less then water over the intercooler due to the fact the Heat transfers alot better through a liquid. About 20 times better I think.

Also a standard 10lb bottle costs about 140 aussie to fill and won't last very long if your spraying it on the IC

Thanks guys

i was thinking about this the other day while our electronics engineer was fault finding a circuit board, he used a spray that created instant freezing to the conponants, this led me the think along these lines.

BTW i did'nt know NOS was sooo expensive!
