I need some replacement rear discs and pads.

Does anyone have any recommendations.

Where's the cheapest place for OEM stuff?

Godspeed do 'em. £150-ish, vented, grooved and nickle-plated as I recall. I seem to remember Ian also made a prototype with an alloy bell, which sounds rather nice so long as you don't use the handbrake for slowing down after noticing a police car in your mirror

Richard.

I've got a new set of Mintex C-Tech grooved and dimpled MY 99 Disks
Cost over £170 new. Will sell for £90 ( Got them from Deemon Tweeks, but they're too small for my Type R) Can't be arsed sending them back .
I'm going to NBO if you're intrested?

Alloy bells help to dissipate heat generated in the discs, keeping the discs and the wheel bearings much cooler.

I'll take em Steve.

and those rear discs - are they vented? Will they fit my MY99?

I'm not going to NBO - but I'm sure someone could meet up with you for me. I'll take em if they fit.

my email is slh@orange.net

These disks are vented and were ordered as for a MY 99 (I didn't realise Type R rears were bigger).

They come with a blue anodized coating (This comes off after first brake application!!)leaving blue hub.

Will be at NBO on sunday STI V Type-R ltd FMIC Rollcage red Sparco seats

Will have username on rear side windows

( Please NO practical jokes from your friends......)
