I think the fuel pump on my 93wrx has died, even with 12 volts onto it, it just wont make a noise. Does anyone have one for sale or recommend a replacement. I have no major mods, just exhaust and panel filter.

Have just done a search and am wondering if an uprated one will cause over fuelling problems? My car is pretty much standard with only a centre de-cat/backbox and itg panel filter so should I just stick to a standard new/secondhand or will it be ok with the walbro one?

uprated pumps sometimes start to overpower the standard regulator which is a bit puny.u may end up overfuelling and not knowing why unless u have a fuel pressure gauge

That's what I was worried about. Will see if I can get a standard one for now, I think.

Shame mate, you have probably left now.....

You will only get 12v supply at the pump for 3 seconds.
As you switch the ignition on the pump primes the fuel system for 3 seconds, it then switches off.. so.. unless you check the voltage as soon as you switch the ignition on you will not get any reading.. the pump only get voltage again when you turn the engine over or when the car actually starts.

Connect, your multimeter to the connections and then watch the display as you turn the ignition on, you should get 12v for 3 secs.
Or watch the display as you turn teh engine over.
