at 5000rpm in 3rd my 93impreza WRX is only hitting 60mph. Ive been told there may be a problem with the clutch. The clutch pedal comes half way b4 it engages so i dont think it is worn, does anybody know what is wrong. HELP!!

Imports are geared differently to uk cars
They will rev higher at 60mph than a uk car will

no its not an RA. The car just doesnt seem to accelerate as well as it should. When i open her up 56mph at 5000rpm in 3rd seems pretty bad to me

 

If there is a problem with your clutch slipping then you could confirm this by driving up a hill in 4th or 5th gear at relatively low speeds and you should notice the revs rising without much of a speed increase as the clutch slips.
