Yesterday afternoon, I passed a single police motorcycle escorting a 'civilian' m/c. Then further up the road I passed another, then another, and another...in total I passed 7 police m/c with an accompanying 'civilian' rider.
Just seemed a bit strange to me, never seen that many cruising along the same stretch of road before. This was on the West End Road heading towards the A40 at Ruislip (Polish War Memorial) around 3:45pm.
Anyone know what was going on?

 

Could have been one of the ridesafe schemes or whatever they call them.
