hey there - as of yesterday i swapped my corsa SRi for an import wrx whicj is very nice can anyone give me any pointers that i should llok out for when i get it such as letting the turbo cool down after a howking!?

First thing is to only put super unleaded fuel in her!
(Octane booster is also advisable on JDM cars, which i take it this is?).
Normally, a 1 minute run down time for letting the turbo cool down is enough, a little more after a very energetic run though
Services should be 2 times per year (6 month intervals or 7.5k miles, whichever is first) and you may get a shock at one of them

Take it a bit easy at first and you wont stop smiling.

Idle the engine for about a minute after a good run. During this time you could put a disclok on, remove your stereo front and fold your wing mirrors away on your import
Use SUL or even better Opitmax and if necessary an octane booster.

 

Definitely use Optimax. Warm gearbox oil and engine oil up before flooring her.

Ignore the corsa SRI and fast Fords who try and race off the lights. Count to 10 then floor her and overtake the aforementioned cars.
