What sort of power could I expect if I were to do the mentioned mods to a sti 8.

None as it would probably spike your boost and blow your engine
Do a search on sti 7 and decats.

People well tell you its fine and they havent had any problems but the BB is littered with comments like that and then 6 months later a post saying I have blown up my engine. Your warranty and engine are at risk but its upto you.

 

I know of a decat and ecutek giving ~330bhp, which is the nearest you would get whilst being safe.

 

I thought with the PPP it was already fitted with a free flowing sports cat anyway so cannot see what the improvement would be.
