wrx ecu swap

Any ECU experts who can help...
will an ECU model U8, 240 BHP form a 93WRX 4 door swap with the my current 220 BHP ECU on my 95WRX 5 door. Please let me know if this is possible and simple.

Very happy with mine and very easy to fit etc..

Thanks Mr Jolly...how much is the scoobyecu and what does it do?
The 240 PS WRX jobbie is only a few quid so if it's just a question of swapping it over then I'll have a go. Anyone else made this mod to their 5 door?

Was £60 when I bought mine..

I think the ECU's you speak of should interchange..

if they have the same plugs on then they should be fine.. but I am no expert... just an assumption.

If both cars use the same turbo then you should be OK, check that the WRX wagon has a TD05 turbo, since it has been known for some wagons to have a TD04. I believe all 4 door pre 97 WRX's had the TD05.
