Have got a full afterburner de-cat in my wagon and while it sounds nice outside, after a drive to wigan and back its too loud inside. Does anyone have any ideas on what effect a magnex resonated centre pipe will have on performance?

if you look in the dyno results section you'll see a lot of peeps had a resonator centre pipe and still got good results. I had my99 with resonator mid and prodrive bb, kept cat in downpipe and got 240bhp on rollers. hope that helps..ken

 

Not sure as regards performance m8, I fitted a Magnex back and resonator at the same time, replacing the standard system, and it was a vast improvement, but I have driven many long journeys and the cabin noise levels are, imho, just right. Not loud enough to give you concussion, but loud enough for you to enjoy the engine note.
