Question

Well my PC died yesterday. Primary hard disk failed and the mobo has been playing up for some time.

So i need to get something new. Seeing as tho Aldi arent doing that deal any more, then i have been looking at building one.

Requirements:

* Already have Soundblaster Live 5.1 cards and speakers so no sound needed.
* Already have NIC
* Already have one 60gb HDD
* Already have CD-RW
* Want at least 512mb memory
* Would like a new case (seen an Antec one with 430w PSU)
* Not bothered if its Intel or AMD
* Dont need RAID for HDDs, but if its there then no probs
* Already have keyboard, mouse, 17" TFT
* Dont do gaming (have Xbox for that) so dont need big powerful graphics card
* Like to fiddle and overclock, etc, so dont really want a prebuilt unit as i will take it apart straight away !!!

So what you reckon ??? I dont want to spend a fortune.

Dave

I have a Pentium 4 motherboard with a P4 1.7Ghz Processor and 256Mb DDR RAM.

I had two lots of the above, just sold one on ebay for £120 so don't know if this would help you out if not I will put this one on ebay too

Just ordered an Abit mobo and AMD chip.

Thanks for letting me know anyway.
